Why should I send my child to International School MGIS?

My blog readers ask:

What do you like about International School MGIS?
Why should I send my child to International School MGIS ?
What makes International School MGIS stand Out?
Why should I study at  the Mahatma Gandhi International School Manila?
What makes a perfect international school for my kid?

As a satisfied parent with two kids studying at the Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS Manila), I’ll answer your queries as honestly and concisely  as I can.
The essence of all  the above questions  may be summed up as:

Why should I send my child to International School MGIS (Mahatma Gandhi International School)?

  • Individualized teaching- Generally, less than 10 students per class; in rare cases, maximum of 15 pax per class
  • Comfortable indoor learning environment; air conditioned, spacious, sanitized classrooms; Smartboard facilities, computer sets, ICT Room, E-Library, Physical Library etc.
  • Outdoor learning- MGIS students regularly explore different places outside of the school for experiential learning as integrated in their subjects/ units of learning.
  • Potentials are determined, recognized, enhanced and supported. (Here’s just one out of the many examples I can give. There’s one incoming Grade 6 student, James Ketcher, who loves singing.  The teachers have always believed in his potentials. Hence, he was diligently coached and guided by MGIS Music and Theater Arts specialists. Right now, he’s ready to perform for The King and I at Resorts World Manila this September 2012).

  3. Thanks for bloggin' about MGIS. I am a high school English teacher from San Diego, California, USA looking into venturing from local education to international education and am happy to have found MGIS, your blog and the whole wideworld of international schools out there! Much happiness! (And what a nice coincidence too...our high school mascot at my current school is THE TIGER and it seems like MGIS are TIGERS too! Grrreat!)

Looking forward to staying in touch with your blog as my school year begins here.

And if by chance, there maybe openings for 2013-2014 for upper level, secondary, high school English language arts at MGIS, would love to be in the loop about that! :)

Go MGIS and long live the spirit of Gandhiji and universal values in your school community! Lovin' it!
